Opel Wins At Tracks|01-07-2002
Opel Motor Sports, winning first two legs of Turkey Track Championship organised by Istanbul Motor Sports Club, also won the 3rd leg realised between 29 and 30 June at Izmit Körfez Track..
In group A, Hamdi Ünal in Opel Astra Kit Car won the race by a great difference. He had obtained the first place in seeding tours.
In Super Production Category, Ibrahim Okyay in Vectra-B, had an unfortunate accident in warm-up before the same race. Track was slippery due to bursting of oil filter of a car. Another car spinned. Okyay trying to avoid hitting that car changed his course and was out of track, hit the wall and he had to quit.
3rd Leg of Turkey Rally Championship Starts|20-06-2002
Pirelli Rally, 3rd Leg of Turkey Rally Championship, starts from Ayasofia on 21 June 2002.
Hamdi Ünal and his co-pilot Çaİlar Süren in Astra-G, first in their class and second in general class. in Aegean Rally, are sure of themselves and will race in class A7. Our second team in class A6, Ali Köymen and Tolga Akinci in Maxi Kitcar, are planning primarily to see the finish like in the Aegean Rally.
The start of 23rd Pirelli Rally will be given symbolically from Ayasofya in Sultan Ahmet Square at 18.01 on 21 June, Friday. Kastro, Dagdelen, Yaliköy and Binkiliç special laps on soil ground, total of 108.10 km. Teams will make 422.18 km. alltogether. Finish will be seen in front of Klassis Golf and Country Club from 19.00 hour onwards, on Saturday. 63 teams registered in this race organised by Istanbul Auto Club (ISOK).

Turkey Rally Championship continues...|31-05-2002
Aegean Rally, second race Turkey Rally Championship, will be run on 1-2 June . It will be one of the four rallies giving points to Turkey Rally Championship. The centre of the rally will be Kusadasi and will be run around Soke, Kocarli and Bagarbasi.
As Opel, we're participating again in the race with Hamdi Ünal-Çaglar Süren Astra G-Kitcar and Ali Köymen-Tolga Özakinci in Corsa Maxi Kitcar. Our pilot, Hamdi Ünal, who was third in general classification and first among Turks, had an unfortunate accident in Turkey Rally, will force the general classification in the Aegean Rally.
The organisation will begin with the start at Kusadasi at 21.00 on 1 June, Saturday and will end at the same place with the car reaching the finish at 18.30 on 2 June, Monday.
