4rd leg of Turkey Track Championship, which was organised by İstanbul Motor Sports Club on 24-25 August 2002 ended with amazing success of Opel Motor Sports pilot Ibrahim Okyay in Vectra-B at Izmit Körfez Track.
Nobody could pass Opel Motor Sports pilot Ibrahim Okyay during the race. He was like an arrow which was shot from a bow . He scored 51.933 points.and became the champion of the 4th leg of Turkey Track Championship. He also obtained the first place in seeding tours. In Super Production Category, Ibrahim Okyay in Vectra-B, realised the dream of Opel Motor Sports and passed Nisan Primeras.
On the other hand, in Group A, Hamdi Unal with Opel Astra Kit Car did not attend the race because of his Anatolian Rally preparations.
Mümtaz Tahincioglu, the president of TOMSFED, congratulated the General Manager of Opel Motor Sports, Iskender Aruoba, the pilot Ibrahim Okyay and the Team Manager Yusuf Aramacı for a well run and enjoyable competition.
