OMS Opel Motor Sport storm was in the Körfez Track race, first race of Turkey Auto Track Champ. on 28 April 2002, Sunday.
During the standing tours, OMS pilot Hamdi Ünal in Astra-G Kitcar, was 2 seconds ahead of his opponent, Ertan Nacaroglu in Palio Kitcar
Four teams started off: Super Production, Group A. F3 and Group N. 33 cars. This was the first time for such a crowded start.
OMS pilot Hamdi Ünal started off in the first row, was the leader of the race and won the race. He was the first in general class. and in group A.
Ibrahim Okyay, OMS Vectra pilot, got 20 seconds yellow flag violation and came third in Super Production.
