31st Tofas Rally ended | 16-05-2002
Polish driver, Janusz KULIG (Ford Focus WRC) won Tofas Turkey Rally. Anthony WARMBOLD came second in Toyota Corolla WR and Hakan Dinç came third. The first team to see the finish in the rally which took place between the dates 10 and 12 May, was Polish Janusz Kulig and Jarek Baran with 3:08:23.8'. They raced in Ford Focus WRC.
31st Tofas Turkey Rally, organised by Turkey Auto and Motor Sports Federation, reached the finish. The rally, giving points to the European Rally Championship on 20 coefficient, was won by Polish team Janusz Kulig-Jarek Baran in Ford Focus WRC. German team Anthony Warmnold-Gemma Price, following them all the way, came second with 31 seconds:07 difference.
Turkish team, Hakan Dinc-Afsin Baydar, in Subaru Impreza WRX, with a fast attack came third and took their place on the podium with 3:19:23:4 First three in IZFAS, celebrated their success on the podium with champagne..
