Opel Motor Sport (OMS) starts education campaign for university students. Iskender Aruoba, OMS Team Director, giving conferences under the title of "Auto and Humans". First one was given in Gaziantep University on 9 November 2001, second in Ege University on 29 November 2001 and third will be given in Bilkent University on 12 December 2001 at 14:30 hours.
OMS got in touch with universities thinking that the only way to overcome "traffic terror", one of the problems of our country, is education. University students where two conferences given were highly interested in the subject of safe driving. Iskender Aruoba, OMS Team Director, in his conference titled "Auto and Humans", he shared his knowledge on the subjects such as progress of autos, safe driving, safe-bend turnings and auto sports. He presented charts as well. After the conference, OMS Team Director answered questions of the students.
These conference are meant to be given across Turkey and not limited to university students only. Anyone caring for "traffic terror" and safe driving can attend the conferences. In the second phase of the campaign, civil rights communities will be contacted.
