New Corsa Super 1600 meets speedways in Rally Deutschland as forwarding car... | 06-07-2001
New Opel Corsa Super 1600 was seen on the speedway in Rally Deutschland runbetween 6 and 8 July 2001.
Rally consisted of 380 km. 18 special laps and 1227 km long. In the rally, no car saw the finish but new Corsa Super 1600 was pretty fast and suitable although developing programme and ground tests hadn't been completed. It was a reliable car
On the first day, Corsa being the first car on speedway, was a bit constrained because of the stones. Although front suspension connection was borken because of a concrete block at side, that problem was easily solved.
