The Opel Motor Sport team members Hamdi Unal - Bahadir Gucenmez together with the Champion Astra Kit Car began the count down for the start of Rally of Turkey.

OMS IS THE 2002 GROUP A TRACK RACE CHAMPION!
The 2002 Champions Night, sponsored by TOMSFED and Milliyet, was held on 21st of December at Lutfi Kirdar Congress Hall. Awards were given to the champions of the 13 categories of the Turkish Motor Sports Federation's races.
Opel Motor Sport sponsors Mobil, Dedeman & Reysas representatives were also present at the ceremony. One of our pilots, Hamdi Ünal recieved his award for the Turkish Track Race Group A Championship with Opel Astra Kit Car. Also representing OMS, our Team Manager Yusuf Aramaci recieved the Turkish Track Race Sponsors Championship award.

THE WHOLE OPEL TEAM ON THE FIELD...
On December 1st, at the Inonu Stadium, before the Besiktas-Genclerbirligi match began, Speedster, Zafira OPC, Astra Cabrio 2.0 Turbo, Vectra GTS 3.2 V6 and 2001-2002 Track Champion (Gr-A) Astra Kitcar, 1600 Corsa Kitcar performed a public demonstration on the tartan track

ONCE AGAIN, HAMDI WON THE TRACK RACE IN IZMIT!
Our pilot Hamdi Ünal in Group A in Astra -G Kit Car once again won the race and made us happy. Hamdi, who won all the races throughout the year, showed his experience and proved that his car could not be passed. While the rainy day made the race difficult for many pilots, Astra-G Kit Car completed the race as first without altering its performance for the tyre choice ,was good.
Misfortunes beginning with the execises never left our pilot Ibrahim Okyay in Vectra-B in Group Super Production. Ibrahim, who hadn't participated in the seeding tours due to a failure in his car, had to quit the race for the failure in his car continued. In the same group, pilot in Vectra-B Merih Erkal, supported by Teymur Otomotiv, finished the race third.
